Civil Society and Etch ‘n’ Sketch are excited to announce the December Australian tour for Glasgow’s My Latest Novel and special guest NY’s Home Video.
My Latest Novel (MLN) are an astonishing five-piece whose gorgeous songs are complemented by soaring violins, xylophones and undulating percussions.
Often described as Glasgow’s Arcade Fire, MLN have been winning fans all over the world with their effervescent, magical music, sharing stages with: The Pixes, Sufjan Stevens, British Sea Power, Smog, Joanna Newsom, The Dears, Low and Arab Strap. Now MLN are bringing their impressive show to Australia, which will see them bring to life on Australian stages, songs from their highly successful and acclaimed debut album release ‘Wolves’.

Special guests on this tour are New York’s Home Video, here to support their brand new release ‘No Certain Night or Morning’. Home Video is David Gross and Colin Ruffino, old high school friends who were once musically worlds apart, but now collaborators in their latest incarnation, Home Video.
Originally discovered by Warp Records, Home Video are dark, broody and atmospheric minimal indie electronic. With Thom Yorke like vocals and a full blown 3 piece rock show with hypnotic visual projections, they are impressing audiences and musicians alike and they have played alongside Blonde Redhead, Pinback, Colder and Ladytron.
